Report from the field : Visit and support at Chautara (Sindhupalchowk District)

On 24th June 2015, we went to CLASS Chautara , Sindhupalchowk for Program.

We conducted a "health camp" for the parents, kids and local communities. 

115 person participated in the health check up. Most of the women of the village participated and we distributed necessary medicines.

We distributed also 15 box big Tarpaulin to the local schools. The Headmaster and  teachers were so relieved and consequently able to restart the school normal system... 

We distributed also 70 Dignity kit and 50 pcs mosquito Net for supported kids mothers and local women. 

The local administration office, District Child Welfare Office and police office also participated in the program. 

In our supported kids the village almost totally collapsed. 41 people died including 12 children (in that village).

 The local communities and government officer requested us to provide them  "Jasta Pata" (tin roof) as soon as possible,

Only for that village,  we then urgently need 58 bundle of Jasta. (a bundle is 70 $ without transport as per gov price and for 8 pieces of metal roof)

At that time they couldn't manage money for their last ritual so they put 41 dead bodies in same place. (common)
